The Hunter Children’s Research Foundation (HCRF) raises funds for vital research into children's terminal and debilitating illnesses. Since 2007, HCRF has operated under the Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI), which holds charitable licenses for fundraising across Australia. HMRI is a registered Health Promotion Charity and a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR1), allowing tax-deductible donations. It is authorised to fundraise in all Australian states and territories, with specific registration and license numbers for each.
