After two postponements and a waterlogged course, the sun finally came out — and it was well worth the wait!HCRF co-founders Janelle Shakespeare OAM and Lorraine Gardner OAM were warmly welcomed by the lady members of Shortland Waters Golf Club on Tuesday 26th August for a wonderful FUN-Raising Day that had something for everyone.

Guests enjoyed pitching and putting competitions, browsed a fabulous market stall filled with delicious baked goods, tried their luck in a fantastic raffle, and rounded out the day with a lovely lunch from the club bistro.

The result? A magnificent $7,400 raised and donated directly to HCRF — every single dollar going toward groundbreaking children's health research right here in the Hunter region.To the lady members of Shortland Waters Golf Club, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
