$60,000 raised for children’s health research in the Hunter
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Hunter Construction Group Lunch for the Kids. It was a day of laughs, sunshine, great food and even better company, and a fitting way to celebrate 30 years of HCRF.
Together, we raised $60,000 to support children’s health research right here in the Hunter. For a volunteer-run foundation, it’s a milestone we couldn’t be prouder of, and every dollar will go directly to research.
Our heartfelt thanks go to our diamond naming rights partner, Hunter Construction Group, whose generosity and commitment helped make this milestone celebration possible. We were delighted to welcome back Johanna Griggs, and to hear from our special guest Professor Nikki Verrills.
Her conversation about her research sparked so much interest on the day, and guests loved how easily she made it to understand. It’s a reminder of the world-class work happening on our doorstep.Thank you also to One Creative Studios for capturing the day so beautifully, and to our wonderful volunteer committee for making it all happen.
Nearly 30 years on, our community continues to turn hope into action. Thank you for being part of it.
